The Four Loves |
C.S. Lewis |
An awesome book where Mr. Lewis
shares his brilliant option on affection, friendship, erotic
love and charity. A must read! |
 |
The
Screwtape Letters |
C.S. Lewis |
This book is sweet. The
whole thing is letters from and old devil to his nephew
Wormwood about how to send a young man to hell. It
opens up your eyes to how the devil temps you and tries to
ensure that you don't have a relationship with God. A
MUST read! |
 |
Surprised by Joy |
C.S. Lewis |
This is Mr. Lewis' autobiography.
I highly enjoyed this one, not just because I'm working on
somewhat of an autobiography of my own, but because I relate
to his growing up Christian, his fall into Atheism and
finally back to Christianity. Another MUST
read! |
 |
Mere Christianity |
C.S. Lewis |
A marvelous perspective on the
Christian Faith as only Mr. Lewis could tell it. Seems
to take place where evil is the dominant and hope is
desperately needed. I relate to it well being in
prison. A must read, even for the free 'worlders'. |

Give it all to Him |
Max Lucado |
What's not to love about Lucado?
A great short story on surrendering your problems, and life
to God. |
|

|
He Did This Just For
You |
Max Lucado |
Another great short story that
sums up Gods sacrifice and what it means to you. |
|

|
The Case For Faith |
Lee Strobel |
Mr. Strobel a journalist,
investigates and impressively removes some of the toughest
objections to Christianity. It reads like a fast paced
novel, but it's anything but. Another must read. Need to check this one
out. |
 |
The Case For
Christ |
Lee Strobel |
This is an
excellent
book written by an atheist -
turned Christian journalist who does some of this toughest
investigation on one of the "most popular cases in history".
A must read. |
 |
God's Outrageous
Claims |
Lee Stroble |
This was a
good book, but not as good as
The Case For Christ
and The Case for Faith. |

Chicken Soup for the
Prisoners Soul |
Jack Canfield, Mark
Victor Hansen & Tom Lagana |
A booked filled with enlightening
stores of hope and faith for people who are incarcerated. I
always read a couple stories a week. |

|
Insomnia |
Stephen
King |
An imaginative book
about Insomniacs seeing the world on another level, with
auras and such. Well written, but far far not his
best. |
 |
The Talisman |
Stephen King & Peter
Straub |
An awesome book about a young boy
who has to ravel across the county and thought a parallel
world. So far, one of my favorites. |
 |
The Black House |
Stephen King & Peter
Straub |
the sequel to the Talisman.
includes the main character, grown now, who is a retired
copy and has to crake a case. A good book, but it only
nip's the prequel heels. |
|

|
Desperation |
Stephen King |
It's about a town in Nevada, a
small town, where needless to say evil takes over. Can
a handful of people survive a force that's slaughtered the
rest of the town? Of course! Fails to mention
the mental instability that will most likely occur at the
end . For the characters of course. |
|

|
Gerald's
Game |
Stephen
King |
A shorter story about
a woman who has to escape possibly hers (and yours?) most
terrifying experience. This one is real nail biter. |
|

|
Hearts in Atlantis |
Stephen King |
By far the BEST book by
Stephen King. Not so much as a thriller; some call it
a half-live story. I call it a MUST read! |
|

|
The Eyes of the Dragon |
Stephen King |
A classic tale that is awesome
simply because only the King could envision it like this.
One of my favorites. |
|

|
Needful Things |
Stephen King |
A cool story about a demon-like
creator who opens a shop and tears a town apart. A
killer ending. |
|

|
Everything's Eventual |
Stephen King |
A compilation of short stories,
with a few really good ones, the rest were mediocre.
|
|

|
It |
Stephen King |
A commitment book, but with an
excellent story line. Be read to turn page after page
well past midnight. |
|

|
Rose Madder |
Stephen King |
This one was well written, but the
plot was lacking. Not a must read, but its still the
King. |
| N/R |
Four Past Midnight |
Stephen King |
TDC will not allow this in due to
some inappropriate content. |
|

|
Thinner |
Stephen King as
Richard Bachman |
A wicked novel about a Gypsy
curse. What kicks the book off is the ending! |
|

|
The Regulators |
Stephen King as
Richard Bachman |
An evil situation through the mind
of a child. Very easy to read, and it's better than
the companion novel, Desperation. |

The Constitutional
Rights of Prisoners |
John W. Palmer &
Stephen E. Palmer |
Off to prison? Hopefully
not! But if so, don't leave the court room without this one.
Full of useful information, facts and laws. |

The Jailhouse Lawyers

Don Harkins |
Ready to be like everyone else in
American and file a lawsuit? Sure you are! This

Its Not about the Bike |
Lance Armstrong and Sally
Jenkins |
A great book about
Armstrong's Live, however one lost respect for the man after
he left his wife for Cherry Crow. After all they went
thought. After all they went through together.
|
 |
Red Rabbit |
Tom Clancy |
A good story (about Jack
Ryan before he became head of the CIA, act...) but Tom
Clancy is not my style. He does wear cool sunglasses,
though. |
 |
Dreamcatcher |
Stephen King |
I enjoyed this one.
An alien force comes to earth and four ordinary men (and one
special one) hat the power to stop it. I want to see
the movie. |
 |
The Stand |
Stephen
King |
Probably his
most famous novel ever. It was a read page turner and
an excellent excuse to stay up late. A must read! |
 |
The Da Vinci Code |
Dan Brown |
This is a
great novel, however, that is the key word; novel. So
don't get riled up believing it. I do recommend you
read it's prequel; Angels and Demons. |

An
influential book aimed to help men in prison and figure out

enlightening. |
 |
A Tale of Two
Cities |
Charles
Dickens |
We've all
read this classic, and while the plot may be a tad dry, it
is by fare the best written book ever, not counting the
Bible. |
 |
Pride and
Prejudice |
Jane
Austen |
One of the
classics and one of the better ones, with some old school
couple troubles, very entertaining. |
 |
War and Peace |
Leo
Tolstoy |
A classic all
by itself, but some rater hard reading. It really
stretched my attention pan at times. However you have
to appreciate the quality of the view of humanity.
|
|

|
Oliver Twist |
Charles
Dickens |
Please, sir
many I have some more? An actually entreating classic
that is worth reading. Very witty, two thumbs up for
Mr. Dickens's |
|

|
Great
Expectations |
Charles
Dickens |
by far my
favorite classic book yet. Dickens last great novel
about poor old orphaned Pip. This one made me laugh
outloud several times. |

|
Moby Dick |
Herman
Melville |
This is a
very difficult book to read, and to be blunt, I did not
enjoy this. I should get 10 years off my sentence for
reading this! (Thanks a lot Uncle! Was this your
way of punishing me for going to prison?) Who was
that carpenter, anyway? |
|

|
The Law of Sentencing,
Corrections, and Prisoners' Rings in a Nutshell |
Lynn S.
Branham |
An
informative book by a law Professor that covers a lot of
Prisoners rights. Luckily, at the moment TDC is
treating me well, (But don't get me wrong prison sucks!
When I get out I will not be back!) but I have learned that
being in prison. |
|

|
Prisoners' Self-Help litigation
Manual |
Daniel

full of right

have a need to file a lawsuit against TDC for any reasons. |
